With an estimated range of around 100 exhibitors, there were plenty of attractions for boat enthusiasts, varying from small kayaks, jet skis and speedboats to 76 feet yachts where the composites demonstrate their potential.
The Brazilian nautical market feedback was very positive for exhibitors this year with a total of 320 units sold, a better result if compared to the last event in 106 which the sale of 250 units was accounted for. The event also featured a 2,500 square meters space called “the wish space” where a wide variety of luxury items were exhibited such as electronics, automobiles and even an Augusta Helicopter model AW139 containing high-tech composites, as an example Its rotor's carbon fiber made blades. Within the event it was also possible to visit the PADI Dive Festival, the largest and most complete diving event in Latin America, where visitors could find a vast exhibition of equipment and diving accessories, as well as live demonstrations in a diving tank set in the middle of the area. The fair estimates the presence of approximately 32 thousand visitors during the 6-day event with a total revenue estimated in R$ 220 million (US$ 69 million) in sales done during the event.
